When I first started building Hubilo, my vision was about creating a global tech platform that would bring people together, nurture business relationships, enable business growth, and create a sense of community. And all of this to be led by a diverse, global team empowered to be entrepreneurial and innovative.
I have always enjoyed watching all the innovation and tech developments within the events space. It is genuinely fascinating. Most recently, I’ve been closely observing how the in-person event tech space is rapidly evolving. In a recent post, I mentioned how customers are real people and people connect with people, not with businesses. And that when you meet someone face to face, you can better understand their psyche. I was keen to find a strong in-person event tech solution and that's when fielddrive came into the picture and I was impressed. Impressed by the people, the technology, their customer-first attitude and their passion for our events community.
So today I am delighted to announce that Hubilo has acquired fielddrive to strengthen our in-person event offering!
The two companies combined really pool our products, expertise and talent and allow us to get closer to the market, which will provide us with a deeper understanding of the day-to-day challenges faced in events. It will ensure that we keep iterating our product and services to be in line with the ever changing needs of our customers. Our new powerhouse will be able to provide technology that enables exceptional event experiences regardless of location, budget or format and that will provide increased value to our growing customer base.
Building a business is a journey and no-one can do that journey alone. So I want to take this opportunity to thank all of the Hubilo team for their energy and expertise. I am incredibly grateful to be surrounded by such a talented global team.
I am energized by all the conversations I've had with the fielddrive team and their enthusiasm is contagious. We have started to create our product roadmap, which we will do in partnership with the industry, to deliver amazing event experiences that are seamless, personalized and that drive growth for our customers and, in turn, for their customers.
Since we first launched Hubilo, our mission has always been to connect people in an authentic and meaningful way and to be able to add value to our customers. Seeing our original vision come to life is truly fulfilling, and I cannot wait to see what the future holds for Hubilo.
