GITEX (Gulf Information Technology Exhibition) is an annual consumer electronics and computer exhibition, trade show, and conference. Considered as the flagship technology event of the Middle East & Africa, GITEX is one of the largest tech exhibitions in the world.
It fills up the entire complex of the Dubai World Trade Centre and is spread over about a million feet of exhibition space. Technology leaders and startups from around the world convene at GITEX to showcase and to understand the latest advancements in enterprise IT, cloud, 5G, big data, cybersecurity, blockchain, quantum computing, immersive marketing, and fintech.
For its 40th edition in 2020, GITEX went hybrid for the first time with Hubilo. From 6-10 December 2020, it ran 6 different themed shows with over 55,000+ attendees joining virtually.
The GITEX team wanted to ensure that virtual attendees get access to the entirety of the exhibition experience as would the in-person attendees.
